It was a wild weekend for our two favorite TV shows of the moment, as
Doctor Who
aired an incredibly dark and surprising penultimate episode for its tenth season, and saying
Twin Peaks
delivered its strangest hour to date is somehow a gross understatement. Both episodes gave us a ton to talk about, making for a long episode filled with in-depth conversations. We also touch upon some recent news, such as more details about the fraught circumstances surrounding the Han Solo
Star Wars
movie and Nintendo’s announcement of the sure-to-be-frustratingly-scarce SNES Classic.
Enjoy!

It’s a week jam-packed with spoiler discussions, as we get to talk about another great episode of
Doctor Who
– “The Eaters of Light,” easily one of the season’s best installments – and another wonderful chapter in the return of
Twin Peaks
– the unusually plot-heavy “Part 7” – alongside our belated discussion of
Wonder Woman,
which everyone on earth has probably seen at least once by now. It’s a movie worth diving into and exploring, and what was intended to be a quick chat turned into a long central topic. Jonathan also talks about his continued adventures exploring the past of
The Legend of Zelda
series, and we cover some recent news and developments, including the shocking firing of Chris Lord and Phil Miller from the
Han Solo
Star Wars movie.
Enjoy!

In our longest episode to date, we offer our fifth annual E3 in-depth analysis, where we go show-by-show, analyzing every announcement, preview, and detail revealed across the six press conferences at this year’s big gaming show. From Microsoft’s unveiling of the hilariously-named Xbox One X, to amazing trailers for games like
Spider-Man
and
Wolfenstein II,
to Nintendo’s day of surprises, we analyze all of it in perhaps excruciating detail. It’s one of our favorite episodes to record every year, and 2017 was no exception. And somehow, we still found time for our weekly reviews of
Doctor Who
and
Twin Peaks,
one of which was amazing and one of which was very, very ‘okay.’
Enjoy!
