'The Weekly Stuff Plays' YouTube Series Launches with HALO: COMBAT EVOLVED
In the depths of space, a mysterious ring is discovered, an adventure begins, and the Master Chief briefly goes rampant as Sean & Jonathan begin their journey through one of their favorite games of all time with the first level of HALO: COMBAT EVOLVED, “The Pillar of Autumn.”
For years, Sean and I have been wanting to expand The Weekly Stuff Podcast beyond the once-a-week audio show, and today, we're doing exactly that. We are launching a new 'Let's Play' series on YouTube, where we are going to revisit classic games, play through them in full, and take an in-depth look at what makes them so amazing - and, of course, we're going to have a lot of fun along the way.
Our first series is in "Halo: Combat Evolved," our favorite first-person shooter campaign of all time, and we're both very excited about how these videos have turned out. They're not only a lot of fun, but have a lot of trivia and critical insight that even long-time fans of the game should find interesting.
Episode 1 is available to the public today, and soon, Let's Play videos will debut on YouTube twice weekly, every Monday and Friday. With the podcast on Wednesday, that means you'll be getting at least 3 major pieces of content from us every week.
And if you like this first video and would enjoy seeing additional episodes early, you're in luck! One of the rewards on our recently launched Patreon Page gives you early access to all our Let's Play videos - and if you sign up today at the $10 level, you will have instant access to 5 full episodes of the series, with the next 5 coming on Friday August 18th. No need to wait - just visit Patreon, and you can see them all right now!
So please give the video a watch, subscribe to our new YouTube channel, and take a look at that Patreon Page. We're excited to take this next step forward, and we hope you enjoy everything that is to come.
