The Weekly Stuff Podcast #119 - Reviewing Steve Jobs, Bridge of Spies, Persona 4 Dancing All Night & Doctor Who S9E5

It’s time for another episode of The Weekly Stuff Podcast with Jonathan Lack & Sean Chapman, a weekly audio show that explores the worlds of film, television, and video games. You can subscribe for free in iTunes by following this link.

This week’s show is a busy one, as we cover some recent news in movies and video games, before jumping into a big slate of reviews. Sean gives his initial impressions on the new DLC for The Witcher 3, Jonathan reviews the recent films Steve Jobs and Bridge of Spies, and we both discuss the PS Vita game Persona 4: Dancing All Night in spoiler-y detail. And finally, we dive deep into the latest episode of Doctor Who, “The Girl Who Died,” which was all kinds of fantastic, and deserving of some lengthy conversation.

Enjoy!

  1. About the Doctor Who discussion on Susan being left in the past, Susan was actually left in the future (22nd century?), after the Daleks had conquered the Earth. I'm just guessing on the year - Vicki is from the 25th century and she mentions the Dalek invasion of Earth was 300 years before her time (The Space Museum). The Doctor hasn't "forgotten" about her, modern times just won't catch up to that timeline for another 100 years or so.
